PhD funding at BUW

BUW's Graduate Funding programme awards scholarships in two rounds per year to finance the final phase of the PhD to doctoral students whose projects make a scientifically relevant contribution to their discipline and have very good prospects of success.
The application deadline is 1 June and 1 December of each year. Further information can be found on the pages of the BUW Graduate Funding Programme.

In addition, BUW chairs have the opportunity to award scholarships from third-party funds. These scholarships must be advertised publicly at the university. Interested students can find the relevant calls for applications either on the pages of the respective chairs or on the page on third-party funded scholarships.
